Tamara Taylor Chiropractor / Owner / Director
	Tamara is the owner and director of FNC, who returned home to the Tablelands in 2006 after pursuing her tertiary education in Melbourne. Tamara firstly started a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University and then progressed to a Double Bachelor Degree at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University.(RMIT University).  She had experienced quality Chiropractic care from a very young age and had seen the benefits to all her family members, thus felt she would like to assist others in the same holistic way. Although university trained, Tamara spent a great amount of time learning from Chiropractors, who trained around the world, to perfect her skills and strives to provide quality evidence-based care, honesty and well-rounded advice to all patients. Her focus is on personalised care and attention, and thus the clinic is based on a long consultation model. Tamara is passionate about providing personalised care for everyone and has attended further national  training in many techniques to enable her to strive for her goal.  She uses a variety of techniques that enable her to provide quality care that caters for all ages and stages of life! As a mother of two, Tamara has a special interest in paediatric, pregnancy and family care, and has planned both the Atherton & Mareeba clinics to provide a relaxed environment for the care of families. Tamara has also received further training in the prescription of ICB orthotics (click to see other FNC services) and the prescription of "professional only" supplement ranges from Metagenics and Bioceuticals. She has also completed the Advanced Practitioner training for the SD protocol and is passionate about assisting patients decrease their Sympathetic wind-up ("fright & flight").  Posture Zone Strong Posture exercise prescription also has become a part of the care of Tamara's patients. Tamara spends her spare time running after her children and training her dog "Slick".  She is involved in the dog training world and aims to compete in Dog Agility and Scentwork Competitions in the future.  Tamara's family loves heading out bush, camping off grid, kayaking and getting back to nature.  She is supported both professionally and personally by her husband Greg.
